Catalog & Category Translations Are Not Working As Expected. (Doc ID 1991063.1)

In the Administration - Catalog Screen and Views you can setup the Catalogs and Categories for Quotes/Orders. When setting up the catalogs/categories, there is a tab to specify the language translation of the catalog/category for different languages. However, when they are specified the object manager is not picking up the language translation. What additional steps are needed to display the translations?
