Symptoms

There is a requirement to update PROD_EFF_START_DT and PROD_EFF_END_DT columns on S_PROD_INT_BU table, using EIM_PROD_INT table. The following columns are specified for ONLY BASE COLUMNS parameter.

ONLY BASE COLUMNS = S_PROD_INT.NAME, \

S_PROD_INT.BU_ID, \

S_PROD_INT.VENDR_OU_ID, \

S_PROD_INT_BU.BU_ID, \

S_PROD_INT_BU.PROD_INT_ID, \

S_PROD_INT_BU.PROD_CD, \

S_PROD_INT_BU.PROD_EFF_START_DT, \

S_PROD_INT_BU.PROD_EFF_END_DT

Although the user keys and the target columns are specified, PROD_EFF_START_DT and PROD_EFF_END_DT columns are not updated.
