An attachment file may contain non-English characters such as Japanese. When such file is downloaded with Firefox, the file name is garbled. More precisely, each character is replaced with the corresponding UTF-8 code. See the example below. This behavior is not observer with Chrome or Internet Explorer.
- Original attachment file name contains Japanese characters.
- Using Firefox, file name is garbled.
- Saved file name is also garbled.
- Using binary editor in UTF-8 mode, corresponding UTF-8 code for Japanese characters are verified.
