Required Field Error Pops up Twice

On : [IP2014] version, Client Functionality

When required field value is null,Field Required message pops up twice

When required field value is null, Field Required message should not pops up twice

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Launch the siebel application
2.Navigate to Contact Screen,drilldown on contact list applet
3.Remove the value in last Name Field and try to navigate to list applet with record in detail view ,error message pops up twice
