AOM goes into infinite crash loop upon process restart (Doc ID 1999080.1)

Symptoms

When running on Linux and a AOM process is restarted by the siebsvc scheduler, the siebmtshmw process immediately crashes with the following call stack:

The same crash can be observed with every new restart attempt.

A service restart is required to stop this crash loop.

 

It has been observed that this issue only happened when the siebel service was up and running for more than 10 days.
