Querying The List Applet Through Query Assistance, The Results Remains In Edit Mode

After Querying the List Applet through Query Assistance , the applet remains in Edit Mode and does not return to List Mode
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1: Navigate to SR -> Sr List View
2: Query one SR and navigate to Metrics tab.
3:Click on Query -> Query Assistant and enter and go, related records will be displayed if present
5:Applet layout is not getting changed to list applet after query is completed with Query Assistant.
