Does an "Out of the Box" Functionality exist to Automatically Update Contact's Time Zone field Based on their Primary Address or Phone Number?

We have a requirement where we would like to store our contacts timezone and not what is displayed based on the user's settings. If the contacts are from different time zones, we would want to have a field in the business component which stores the different timezone value. When I checked support web, I found that it can only be done by using scripting. Can you please suggest if there are any out of the box functionality that can serve this purpose.
