Web Content Expiration Fails For Mobile Connected On Some Browsers

The web content of mobile applications does not expire with the native Safari browser on iPad. The same happens when using the container application provided for Siebel Mobile Disconnected Application. (The container is just like a wrapper around the native Safari browser). To download modified Open UI files to the iPad the user must clear the browser cache.
There is no need for the user to clear the browser cache when the iPad is connected to web client applications like CallCenter. The modified files are automatically downloaded to the iPad when the user log out and then in again.
The same behavior is when using Chrome browser on a desktop. When connecting to a web client application (e.g. CallCenter) then modified Open UI files are automatically updated. When connecting to a mobile application (e.g. ePharmaM) then an update must be forced by manually clearing the browser cache.
When using Firefox browser on a desktop then modified Open UI files are always automatically downloaded for both, web client applications and mobile applications.
