Blank Lines in Email Template Not Getting Saved (Doc ID 2013134.1)

Symptoms

Not able to save the blank lines in the template text while creating a new template.

Blank lines in template should be maintained while creating the new template.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.) Navigate to Administration Communication->All templates.
2.) Query the desired simple template.
3.)In Template Body click enter two or three times between two lines creating multiple blank lines in between
4.) Now Step of the record and query the template again.
5.) We observe that the blank lines between two consecutive lines are truncated.
