The issue is reproducible with HI Web client or Developer Client, no matter the Patch Set applied.
Users are facing an IE hang when in a bounded pick-list is entered an value outside of the possible values list and afterward they click on a Internet Explorer Tab Window, outside of Siebel tab (window).
A Warning message is displayed. This message cannot be closed and they cannot continue to operate in Siebel.
1. Go to Siebel HI
2. Access the Service Screen >> My Service Requests
3. Click New in the SR form applet
4. Enter directly into the field a non-existent value in the “Last Name” pick-list field
5. Click on another tab of the Internet Explorer or even in the Internet Explorer tab name of the current Siebel window (in this case: Siebel Service). An error pop-up is raised and the IE gets blocked, leaving the user without the chance to close the error pop-up.
