Symptoms

On Siebel 8.1.1.3 or before (including 8.0.x, 7.8.x and before), if database character code is SJIS (or CP932) and the column text length is 100, only 50 Japanese characters can be stored via business component. Bug on 8.1.1.4 and later, you can store 100 Japanese characters on the same field/column.
