We install Java 8, build 45 and found that it is breaking the CTI toolbar in Siebel 22.214.171.124. Please let us know why and what level of Java they recommend for our deployment of Siebel 126.96.36.199. Is there a way to configure Java 8 to work with 188.8.131.52?
Since the Siebel System Requirements and Supported Platforms document (page 22) only says JRE 1.4.2 or higher is required, it doesn’t really help understand why 1.8 isn’t working with Siebel.
