The Dispatch Board Applet Do Not Focus On The Scheduled Day (Doc ID 2043664.1)

Last updated on MARCH 02, 2017

Applies to:

Siebel Field Service - Version 8.1.1.11 [IP2013] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Dispatch Board Applet (High-interactivity) is not working since we've updated from Siebel 8.1.1.8 to 8.1.1.11.

However, it works correctly in Open UI.

WHAT IS THE DESIRED BEHAVIOR

The activity should be opened on the correct date on Dispatch Board:
If Status = Unscheduled, then display the period between Earliest Start and
Latest Start dates.
If Status = Scheduled, then display on the period between Planned Start and
Planned End.

WHAT IS THE ACTUAL OR UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The activity is always opened on the current date regardless of the Status of
being Unscheduled or Scheduled.

STEPS

1. Log into service_enu in HI mode.

2. Set User Preferences > Dispatch Board, make sure they are set as vanilla,
Service Region is blank.

3. Create an activity in My Activities, populate the following fields in
Activities > Activity List > My Activities > Schedule

Status: Unscheduled
Service Region: blank
Earliest Start: 12/08/2014 04:29:00 PM
Latest Start: 12/10/2014 11:11:00 AM
Planned Start: 12/08/2014 11:11:00 AM
Planned End: 12/09/2014 04:11:00 PM

4. Drill down on Status field, the Dispatch Board is opened, with the
activity in Unscheduled Activities. The Dispatch Board Calendar shows
current date.

Test the above in 8.1.1.5 SIA, the Dispatch Board opens with the time period
blocked between Earliest Start and Latest Start.
Test the above in 8.1.1.11 patchset 9 SIA, the Dispatch Board opens with
today's date 12/24/2014 04:29:00 PM, and it doesn't block the period between
Earliest Start and Latest Start..
