On : 18.104.22.168.4 [IP2013] version, Client Functionality
Users are not able to attach some file to an Opportunity having the .RTF extension.
Other files extensions (.PDF, .CSV) can be attached.
1. Launch sales_enu application in High Interactivity using Internet Explorer (IE 8).
2. Go to Opportunity > Attachments
3. Attach file with an .RTF file extension.
Result: The file can only be attached if renamed to .DOCX extension.
