Crash after Submit Order

Crashes are seen when submitting certain Orders. Some orders are working fine without issues. When a crash occurs on an order, it is crashing consistently. When the crash occurs, the following callstack is seen:

When submitting a Order, it should not crash the application.

Complete a Sales Order. Once completed, click on the 'Submit Order' button to submit the order to an external system.
This will then call workflow process 'SISOMBillingSubmitOrderWebService' and will call a few wf steps. It is then crashing in the workflow step 'Compute Previous Values' and the callstack is seen.

This is preventing the order from being submitted and also kicks out users logged into the application
