OpenUI: Closing Attachment Applet From F9 Email Client Automatically Close Email Client Window (Doc ID 2047424.1)

On : [IP2014] version, Comms Server & Email Response

In OpenUI, when we open the F9 Popup window to send email from Siebel using the native Siebel email client, and then if we click on the paper click icon to attach some file manually and then close attachment popup applet (that pops-up by clicking on attach file icon), Siebel email client window gets closed and user is navigated back to Service request screen, instead of the parent F9 email popup window. Now, User has to click F9 again to send email. They lost all their changes (i.e. the drafted email).

Actual Behavior: System navigates to the parent Siebel Screen ( e.g. Service request screen)

Note: Click on 'OK' button brings focus back to the F9 email client window.

Expected behavior: System should bring back previous email client window with template selected.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Login to Service application in OpenUI
2) Goto My or All Service Requests
3) Click F9-->select recipient-->select template
4) click attach file icon
5) click 'X' button if you don't wish to attach any file.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use Siebel F9 function correctly as the parent F9 popup gets closed and all drafted email data is lost
