Open UI: Value from Pick Applet not taken over in Explorer View

Value population after selecting a record in a pick applet is not always working within Explorer Views.
Siebel Open UI IP 2014/2015
Standard example explorer view:
1) Navigate to LOV explorer view.
2) Expand the tree applet to see the applet of Values.
3) Now navigate forward to record 11 or 21.
4) Now open the pick applet for Language Name and try to select a value.
=> Value is not taken over!
