Picklist Not Picking Up Values If Query Is Done With Only One Uppercase Letter

Information in this document applies to any platform.
On : 126.96.36.199.7 [IP2013] version, when querying a pick list column (in a list applet) using only one uppercase letter, the column stays with that letter, without picking values or giving options to choose from.
1. Navigate to a list applet that contains a column having a picklist.
2. Tab to that particular column. (Say the column is 'Gender' containing 2 values 'Male'/'Female')
3. Type 'M' in capital and tab off.
