Information in this document applies to any platform.
We implemented Siebel Personalization, and noticed that the popup applets (including pick applet/mvg applet/popup applet etc) were not shown in OpenUI when the CTI toolbar was visible.
- Login to Siebel.
- Click on the ‘Communication’ icon to bring up CTI toolbar. Notice that the CTI toolbar has a Dashboard applet below it. Click on the ‘Communication’ icon again to hide the CTI toolbar.
- Navigate to Site Map à Administration Personalization à Applet
- Query for following applet –
Name = Persistent Customer Dashboard Applet
You should receive one record.
- Change the ‘Conditional Expression’ for this record from –
GetProfileAttr ("ApplicationName") <> "Siebel Hospitality"
to as follows –
GetProfileAttr ("ApplicationName") = "Siebel Hospitality"
Click on the gear icon for ‘Menu’ on the right side (next to Query icon) and click on ‘Reload Personalization’ from the dropdown menu which is at the very bottom.
Click on the ‘Communication’ icon at the top, so that CTI toolbar is visible.
Try to invoke any popup applet or mvg applet in the Siebel application. You may notice that it does not pop those applets
Try logging out of the Siebel (and make sure that CTI Toolbar is visible). You will receive below error twice before Siebel logs out:
