Siebel Mobile : Siebel Mobile Application cannot connect if same USER_ID is listed in Siebel Anywhere (Employees) distribution (Doc ID 2056759.1)

Symptoms

When deploying Siebel Mobile Disconnected Application as well as Siebel Anywhere (Siebel
Remote)  on the same Server of the same Enterprise...

There can be Conflict between Siebel Remote Client, Siebel Mobile Client & Siebel Anywhere Employee distribution list.


Eg.

 

We have  "Siebel Life Sciences" for remote, and 

"Siebel ePharma Mobile" for mobile on the same Siebel Server on the same Siebel Enterprise.

The Users share the same USER_ID

eg.


Administration-Siebel Remote> Mobile Clients

USER1   (USER_ID = USER1)

And

Administration-Siebel Mobile> Mobile Clients

USER1-MOBILE   (USER_ID = USER1)



They share USER1.

 

When we use Siebel Anywhere for deploying SRF's to Siebel
Remote Clients.

If we include the USER1  in a Siebel Anywhere Distribution (Employee) on the Siebel Server .. we cannot log into Siebel Mobile Application from an
Ipad (Connected or disconnected)  or PC.  They will get
