EIM_Export Partial Load - Is That Possible? (Doc ID 2057077.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 16, 2016

Applies to:

Siebel Sales - Version 8.1.1.10 [23021] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Qn1: On : 8.1.1.10 [23021] version, EIM

The requirement is to export data from a Siebel base table to an external schema, using a daily EIM export.
Is there any possibility to do a partial load to EIM table?

Example,
On the first day, 100 records are loaded to the EIM table; after moving that data to the external schema the records are not deleted in the EIM table.
In the next day load, only the changed / newly created records (if any) shall be pushed to the EIM table - not all the records. Say 2 records have been updated and 1 has been created, then only these 3 changes need to be pushed to EIM.
In EIM on the total records will be: 2 updated + 1 newly created + 97 unmodified record = 100

Qn2: How do we identify the changed records in the base table and push that in EIM?

Qn3: If the records changed in the base table and now I'm using a new batch number to export the data to EIM table, this will be created as a new record in EIM but in this case if I want to overwrite the exiting record in EIM with the new changed values is it possible?
