SCRIPTING SYNTAX ERROR USING GETMULTIPLEFIELDVALUES WITH STRONG TYPED BC (Doc ID 2058690.1)

Symptoms

When performing a Syntax Check in a function where GetMultipleFieldValues is used, it always reports "Calling function GetMultipleFieldValues with too many arguments."

According to Bookshelf Object Interfaces Guide, the function requires two inputs, both property sets. The Syntax Check appears to be incorrectly reporting this as a violation of the syntax.

To reproduce, create the following on any scripted event or function:


Then go to Tools "Debug" menu -> Check Syntax. Siebel will return the following:

Semantic Warning around line 6:Calling function GetMultipleFieldValues with too many arguments.
