Is there an option in OBIEE to allow Segmentation Criteria to return the filter based on the result set from the previous filter that is already applied within the criteria before?

For example, let's assume there is a requirement to build a Segment Criteria based on specific Response for an Event. Is there a way to get the filter to retrieve just the Response for that Event, instead of showing all Responses from all Events?
