Siebel IRM: On the IBM DB2 RDBMS, ddlimp execution stops with DDLIMP-ERR-1071: Unable to build ddl statement "create table" (Doc ID 2063304.1)

Note: This issue affects Siebel implementations on IBM DB2 RDBMS only

On Siebel CRM version 15.1 and later, as part of the Upgrade Siebel Database Schema or Upgrade Custom Database Schema (upgrep and/ or upgphys), the ddlimp utility stops with the following error in the ddlctl_tab.log that is generated by the upgrep process, for instance:





The object row length calculation algorithm for the ddlimp utility was changed since 15.0 in a way that larger tables near the 32K limit cannot be seamlessly created from scratch.

Versions affected: Siebel CRM 15.1, 15.2, 15.3 and 15.4
