UCM Batch Process in Infinite Loop

After an error processing a queued record from S_UCM_CONTACT (SDH table), it is observed that the queued record is not set to 'Incomplete', and the UCM Batch Process continually tries to process the same record.
Following error was seen :-
SBL-EAI-04451: Method 'SetFieldValue' of business component 'UCM Contact Source Data and History' (integration component 'Contact') for record with search specification '[Id] = "1-4SFDOK"' returned the following error:"The value entered in field M/M of buscomp UCM Contact Source Data and History does not match any value in the bounded pick list PickList MrMs.(SBL-DAT-00225)"
The same error was then seen to re-occur indefinitely, as the UCM Batch Process tried to process the same queued record again and again.
