Getting Errror "No DNS Found" When Accessing Siebel Server Manager Using Command Line (Doc ID 2074138.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to access Siebel Server Manager via command ..\SIEBEL_ROOT\siebsrvr\bin\srvrmgr /e ENTERPRISE_NAME /g GATEWAY_NAME /u USER_ID /p PASSWORD
the following error occurs:

Error seen in the file: NameSrvr_04.log


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open an command prompt window
2. Change to directory, ..\SIEBEL_ROOT\siebsrvr\bin
3. Run command, srvrmgr, /e ENTERPRISE_NAME /g GATEWAY_NAME /u USER_ID /p PASSWORD (for security, ENTERPRISE_NAME, GATEWAY_NAME, USER_ID, and PASSWORD were used instead of actual values)
