Unable to Import Siebel Repository (Doc ID 2075627.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.0.0.1 [20408] version, System Admin

When attempting to import the siebel repository the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------

REPIMEXP-ERR-1121: Unable to open import file D:\sba80\dbsrvr\FRA\test.dat (Invalid Siebel File Type).
Error opening file: D:\sba80\dbsrvr\FRA\test.dat.
Unable to start common api.
Error in initiate function.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Export the siebel repository
2. Try to import repository through DB Wizard the error occurs.
