Steps To Enable BI Publisher Logging? (Doc ID 2076111.1)

Siebel Reports - Version 7.8.2.16 [19255] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

If Siebel BI Publisher report execution fails with the below error in Siebel UI.

"BI Publisher engine failed to generate report at the server.SBL-RPT-50524".

 This means BI Publisher engine failed to process the report. Inorder to find the exact root cause for the issue, we need to have the detailed log generated at BI Publisher side.

xdo.log for 10g (10.1.3.4.1/10.1.3.4.2)

bipublisher.log/xdo.log for 11g (11.1.1.7.x/11.1.1.9.x/12c (12.2.1.0)
