RaiseErrorText Is Not Showing Proper Message
Last updated on JULY 30, 2017
Applies to:Siebel Financial Services CRM - Version 18.104.22.168 [IP2014] to 22.214.171.124.11 [IP2014] [Release V8]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
There are some validations on Service Request -> BusComp_PreWriteRecord method -> Script: TheApplication().RaiseErrorText(“Invalid Id”), which is working fine when Service Request is Created from Service Request Screen and proper message is displayed “SBL-EXL-00151: Invalid Id”.
But if user is trying to Create Service Request from Financial Account Screen with Pressing ‘Go’ Button from OOTB Applet (FINS Account Checking Details Agent Applet), this error is thrown instead “SBL-EXL-00151: <?>”.
When adding TheApplication().RaiseErrorText("Not Allowed."); inside prewriterecord, it should display the Not Allowed message when creating a record.
The displayed error message is <?> instead of Not Allowed.
