Symptoms

With Siebel version 15.x pointing to a Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS the installation or server configuration stops with the following error:

The required database driver is not present: SQL Server Native Client 11.0
Please install the required driver or update the driver name in config.properties before invoking the Configuration Wizard
