Last updated on FEBRUARY 05, 2019

Applies to:

Siebel Financial Services CRM - Version [IP2014] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Customer is having an issue after upgrading to Typing the first character of LOV does not populate LOV value.

Desired Behavior:

When users type the first few characters in LOV and tab off (quickly), the
corresponding selection should automatically be made.
It works well in Chrome and Firefox browsers, but not in IE 11 browser.

Actual Behavior:

When users type the first few characters in LOV and tab off (quickly), the
default selection is picked and set to the field.

Repro Steps:

1. Launch Siebel Financial Services Application in Open-UI mode using IE 11 browser.
2. Navigate to Activities --> My Activities and access "Activity List Applet With Navigation".
3. Click on "Type" field and key-in "Inb" (quickly) and tab off.
4. Notice how the "" value is set to "" field and not the expected "" value.
5. However, is you would key-in "Inb" rather slowly and let the selection
made before tabbing off, then the "" value is set to "" field.
6. This keying-in (quickly) and tabbing off works well in Siebel version.
