Order Line Items Removed when CFG State Code Changed to "User Requested Item" (Doc ID 2090045.1)

Symptoms

Line items are removed when the Cfg State Code of Grandchild Line Item is changed to "User Requested Item". This issue did not occur in the 8.0 codeline

 

Repro Steps:
1) Import customers product structure
2) Create a new Order with ROOT as the ROOT Product
Note: this adds FATHER by default with Cfg State Code = User Requested Item
3) Customize FATHER and change attribute1 to Y.
4) Hit "Done"
5) Return to Order and see CHILD and BE CHILD are added with Cfg State Code = Engine Picked Item
6) Change the Cfg State Code on BE CHILD to "User Requested Item"
7) Customize FATHER and change attribute1 to N
8) Hit Done
9) Return to Order and see CHILD and BE CHILD have been removed
10) Delete all line items
11) Create a new line item with ROOT as the ROOT Product. Note: this adds FATHER by default with Cfg State Code = User Requested Item
12) Customize FATHER and change attribute1 to Y.
13) Hit "Done"
14) Return to Order and see CHILD and BE CHILD are added with Cfg State Code = Engine Picked Item
15) Change the Cfg State Code on CHILD and BE CHILD to "User Requested Item"
16) Customize FATHER and change attribute1 to N
17) Return to Order and see CHILD and BE CHILD have NOT been removed.

In 8.0 in both cases the CHILD and BE CHILD have NOT been removed.
