Step-By-Step Guide To Set Up Siebel Application Data Quality Integration With IIR and EDQ (Doc ID 2094420.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 31, 2018

The following document is intended to provide a step-by-step illustration on how to install the IIR & EDQ Data Quality software and configure the integration of them with the Siebel application.  The focus and emphasis are on the configuration steps necessary on the IIR, EDQ and Siebel (CRM/UCM) applications in order for Siebel to successfully invoke the data quality vendor software for cleansing and deduplication.

The example test cases are provided for educational purposes and functionality illustration/verification. They have been tested internally and work as documented.  User may use the same exact test cases & data to perform sanity checks and familiarize with the various matching features.  Please be sure to test it thoroughly in the environment before relying on it.

Proofread the examples before using them. Due to the differences in the way text editors, e-mail packages and operating systems handle text formatting (spaces, tabs, special characters and carriage returns), the sample messages/data/values may not be in an executable state when you first receive it or copy it from the document.  Check over the sample code/messages/data values, to ensure that errors of this type are corrected.
