Symptoms

On : 15.4 [IP2015] version, Security / Authentication

When attempting to access Siebel eEnergy application after installing Oracle LDAP client on the Siebel server machines, the LDAP application is not accessible and the following error occurs.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install Oracle LDAP client on the Siebel server
2. Make sure that LDAP profile parameters and SSO configuration are setup correctly
3. Check to see if LDAP/SSO application is accessible

Due to this issue, users cannot access Siebel LDAP/SSO and this was causing a setback.
