Dispatch Board, Can't See Complete Text For The Job Title, Control Length Is Very Short In Open UI. (Doc ID 2099512.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Dispatch Board, can't see complete text for the Job Title, control length is very short in Open UI.

The following Doc:

Open UI, Dispatch Board - FS Dispatch Board Gantt Applet - Configuration Dose not Work (Doc ID 2066013.1)

provides the steps to add Job Title field to employees on Dispatch Board in Open UI, but I am unable to see complete text for the Job Title, control length is very short in Open UI.

For example:

SENIOR ORIENTATION REPRESENTATIVE
as shown as SENIOR ORIENTA...

I dont see any user property to increase the length of the Control as well..


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

I can see the complete Job Title.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Expose 'Job Title' on Dispatch Board, by following steps in <BUG 21425055>.   Here are the steps:

1 Lock the FS Dispatch Board project for editing.

  2 In Object Explorer, navigate to Applet, and query for the "FS
Dispatch Board Gantt Applet".

  3 Navigate to Applet, then Applet User Prop.

  4 Query for "Pane 0 Field*", making sure to include the wildcard
asterisk symbol (*).

  All the Employee business component Pane 0 Fields that currently
appear on the Gantt chart of the Dispatch Board are listed in order.

  5 Copy the "Pane 0 Field 3" record, and update the fields in the new
record as follows:

  a Enter "Pane 0 Field 6" as the name for the record.

  b Enter "Job Title" in the Value field.

  The value field is the name of the field in the business
component.

  6 Create user property records for the new column.

  Information about the records is described in the following table.

  Name Value

  Pane 0 Col 6 NM, Job Title

  NM denotes Header Display Text.

  Pane 0 Col 6 Attr 0 IID, 211

  IID denotes Unique ID.

  Pane 0 Col 6 Attr 1 FLD, Job Title

  FLD denotes the field of the business
component.

  Pane 0 Col 6 Field 0 Job Title, Val

  7 Create a business component user property as follow:

  Navigate to "Business Component"

  Query for name "Employee"

  Lock the project if not already locked

  Navigate to "Business Component User Properties"

  Query for name "PrivateFields"

  Edit the value to add: ,Job Title

  8 Compiled the modified objects

Deploy the recompiled .srf to Siebel Server siebsrvr\objects\enu and restart
Siebel Server service.

2). log into service_enu application, go to Administration - User >
Employees, update Job Title for 2 employees who are on the Service Region
specified on Dispatch Board:

Navigate to Dispatch Board, can't see the complete text for the Job Title.

3. Drag the Job Title header to expand its width, it is adjustable to increase
or decrease the width, but the Jot Title data stay as fixed length and do not
adjust accordingly.
