Marketing Profile Dashboard Issue.
After upgrading from OBIEE 184.108.40.206.131017 to 220.127.116.11.151020 (OBIA is 18.104.22.168), while viewing the Contact Profile Dashboard from Segment count link in the segment designer, Segment filter is not taken. As a result all Contacts are generated in the Report.
It was working fine before upgrade. The filter for contacts ROW_ID not getting passed from Segment Designer into profile dashboard. The profile dashboard has filter "ROW_ID is prompted". As per query log, the dashboard report runs for all contacts irrespective of the filter.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a segment
2. Save the segment by giving it a name
3. Click on the hyperlink of segment count to Navigate to the profile dashboard.
4. The profile dashboard generates all records and not only the ones counted from Segments
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot get the desired Contacts from Segments to Dashboards.
