Usability Issues with the Week View of Open UI Events Calendar
After applying Patchset 7 on 220.127.116.11, the required Manifest Administration entries were created for the eEvents Event Calendar Applet, as defined in <Doc ID 2014221.1>.
There are three issues with the Week view:
i) The Week view is cluttered while trying to display all the events for a day of the week and there is no 'Expand' option, as offered in High Interactivity.
ii) The day having a large number of events are not readable; thus, it is not possible to drill down on an Event.
iii) Large spanning events like the one spanning for the entire year are not visible in the Week view.
Some Events occur all through the year and span across several years. Weekly Calendar views for these Events do not display, as expected, compared to High Interactivity.
1. Launch the 18.104.22.168.7 Open UI application.
2. Go to Activities > Activities List
3. Create Activities with short durations.
4. Go to the Weekly Calendar view.
Result: The Activities are difficult to read in the Weekly Calendar view.
The Calendar displays the Events stacked vertically, making it very difficult to view and drill down on events.
If there are multiple meetings having time overlaps, the calendar applet becomes unreadable.
