Multiple Siebel Repositories can break definition of Survivorship rules (SBL-DAT-00500 error) and influence UCM Batch Data Processing (missing field update)
(Doc ID 2106565.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2019
Applies to:
Siebel Universal Customer Master - Version 8.1.1.1 SIA [21211] and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Execution of the UCM Batch Manager workflow process may cause that some master data fields are not passing final update of the master data record.
Investigation of the detailed log shows that the the correct fields set posted on the input of the "IntelligentMerge" method of the "UCM Survivorship Engine" standard Business Service
resulted output where the fields were missed if if these were not survived (not passing survivorship rule).
And at the same time inspecting the UCM Survivorship Rules definition on the Siebel UCM Client Administration view did not display the field, while logging the "SBL-DAT-00500" error (too many records) in the Siebel Client log.
