Getting Error "This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS" when accessing HTTP Symbolic URL for HTTPS Siebel Application (Doc ID 2108894.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to Open the HTTP Symbolic URL from HTTPS eService Application the following error occurs.


Mixed Content: The page at 'https://xxx' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure frame 'http://xxxxxx'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.


Behavior can be reproduced with following steps:


1. Some users who are navigating to the eService system via HTTPS link and user can click the report button to see the related report in the eService.

2. The pop up report applet are configured via Symbolic URL, the URL is  configured as below '../eai_enu/start.swe' in the Administration -Integration -> Symbolic URL Administration, The URL is in the form of HTTP
