Upgrade Promotion with Aggregate Product have Unexpected Behavior (Doc ID 2113284.1)

Siebel CRM - Version [23012] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.


1) Create 2 products
a) Set Top Box
b) TV Service

2) Create 3 Product Lines

a) STB1
b) STB2
c) STB3

and add the product Set Top Box product to all the 3 product lines

3) Create 2 Promotions

a) SS1
b) in the products >> components add the product
TV service
c) go to the products >> aggregate and add 3 product lines

STB1 with default product Set Up Box

d) Create Promotion SS2 same as SS1

e) In the upgrade path of SS1 go to Component view and in the "Upgrade To" Applet add the promotion SS2

4) Create a new Account "Test Mur"

5) Create a sales order with promotion SS1
the line items look like below

TV Service
Set Top Box (Product Line = STB1)

6) Asset it

7) Select the Asset and create an upgrade order

8) The new Order looks like this

SS1 (Delete)
TV Service (Update )
Set Top Box (Update )
SS2 (Add)
Set Top Box (Add ) (Product Line = STB1)
