Query on Combo Box Returns Wildcards, Ignoring Quotes for Exact Matches (Doc ID 2131032.1)

Symptoms

Querying in the combo box returns wildcards, even after using quotes to retrieve exact match(es).

STEPS

1. Launch the Siebel Application.
2. Navigate to Site Map > Cases > Case List.
3. In My Cases, click on + to create a new case.
4. Create 3 records with the following Case Names:
    ACR Case 1
    ACR Case 10
    ACR Case 11

5. In the combo Search box, select Case Name.
6. In the value box, enter ACR Case 1 and click the Arrow (execute).

Result: All 3 records are returned.

           ACR Case 1
           ACR Case 10
           ACR Case 11

7. In the combo Search box, select Case Name again.
8. In the value box, enter "ACR Case 1" and click the Arrow (execute).

Result: All 3 records are returned again, rather the one expected: ACR Case 1

The combo box ignored the quotes (for exact match). The wildcard search was executed.

Querying for exact match does not work in the combo box.
