Tabbing Out From the Field Do Not Set Value In Unbounded Picklist (Doc ID 2133477.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.1.1.14.14 [IP2014] version, Upgrade


Entered Field Value is not set in the Unbounded Picklist when Tabbed Out from the Field

Enter a value which is not in the picklist or contains just parts of it. (e.g. entered value = 5; values in picklist = {150, 50, 15}

Use the TAB Button to switch to the next field. The value in the field should be the value which you have entered.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Service Request Screen - Service Request List View

2. Check the Pick list for SR Type Field,Change the Pick list form Bounded to Unbounded

3.Compile the Picklist and Launch the Application

4.Create new record in Service Request  List Applet ,provide the value in SR Type Field as 'C' (contains just parts of it of Picklist values)

5.Tab out from the Field,Value is set to the Picklist value matching with the Input Provided,

6.Repeat Step 4

7.Now use mouse and click in the next field,value in the field is the set to the value entered.
