Communications Inbound Receiver crashes on certain emails

Customer is complaining that after upgrading to Siebel 15.8 they are facing crashes of the Communications Inbound Receiver (CIR) component on certain email. The component will crash with the same fdr\callstack before delete a certain email from the email box.
