Information in this document applies to any platform.
When trying to access screen named "Hierarchy Browser Screen" in Partner Manager application,the following error is displayed.
It has detected an error that occurred probably due to one or more of the following reasons :
View a model file is available Undetermined for the view : Configuration Hierarchy View ( SBL - FIU - 00404 )
What would like to know:
1)What's the usage of this new screen?
2)Why the webtemplate is missing?
3)Can we download the missing Web Template from the support?
Steps to replicate:
1)Logged into Partner Manager Application
2)Navigated to Sitemap-->Administration - Hierarchy Browser (Server Admin)
3)Tried to access the screen
4)When tried to access the screen, got the web template missing error.
5)Logged into Siebel Tools
6)Navigated to "Hierarchy Browser Screen"
7)Identified the 'Default' view for the screen as "Hierarchy Browser View"
(But the view is not added to the screen and the view is not exists)
8)Changed the default view for the screen to "Configuration Hierarchy View"
and compiled the changes(As the view is already added to the screen). After
compilation, navigated to the application and tried to access the "Hierarchy
Browser Screen" and observed the same template missing error.
9)In Siebel tools, navigated to the "Configuration Hierarchy View"
view-->Expand view and navigated to the View Web Template and observed that
there is no web template is added to the view.
Note: "Configuration Hierarchy View" is existing but the web template and web
template item is not added to the view. There are 3 more views added to the
screen, but the views are not existing.
