Suspending 'scheduled Campaign Launch' Not Working

The scheduled campaign launch task when suspended using the 'suspend' button present on Campaign->Execute->Execution status view does not cancel the scheduled task. The status show as 'Suspended' in Campaign->Execute->Execution status view but in Campaign->Execute->System tasks view, the campaign launch task is still in pending status.
Due to this even after suspending the schedule, still the campaign launch is successful until we cancel/stop the task using the 'Stop task' button present in Campaign->Execute->System tasks view.
