No way to prevent editing attachment files in Open UI (Doc ID 2149344.1)

Symptoms

In HI application, you can prevent end users to edit attachment files with one of the following configurations:

(1) Set XXXFileName field read only

 If you set XXXFileName field in an attachment business component read only (by either using Read Only property or using Field Read Only Field user property), end users can not edit attachment files.

(2) Set the BC record read only

 If you set 'No Update' to TRUE or add 'BC Read Only Field' user property to an attachment business component, end users can not edit attachment files.

 

But in Open UI application, if you configure (1) above, end users still can edit attachment files and if you configure (2) above, end users can not edit attachment files, but you will see error message as follow:
