Siebel Application Hangs in Employee Skill View at Employee List Applet (Doc ID 2151401.1)

Siebel Application hangs when users are navigating to Site Map >> Administration Users >> Employees >> Assignment Skills and trying to change record
in Employee Skill View at Employee List Applet.

Details of the views -
Screen: User Administration Screen
View: Employee Skill View
Business Object: Employee
Applets: Applet[0]: Employee List Applet; Applet[1]: Employee Skill List Applet; Applet[2]: Employee Skill Item List Applet;
Business Components: BusComp[0]: Employee; BusComp[1]: Employee Skill; BusComp[2]: Employee Skill Item;

The issue is present in all available OMs with all available language pack in both online as well as in remote client.


1. Login to application
2. Go to Site Map and click on >> Administration Users >> Employees >> Assignment Skills view link.
3. On first applet try to change record (move focus from selected record to other record in the list). Application is hanged
4. Or do a query on first applet with USERID and when result returns try to press on query button again. Application is hanged
