Text filtering on dropdown list not working correctly

Upgraded from Siebel 188.8.131.52 to OpenUI 2015.9
After upgrade, the text filter in the dropdown list doesn't seem to work. In Siebel 184.108.40.206, when we have a long list of dropdown text and typed the initial letter for example 'e' in the text field, it will automatically select the text that start with the letter E (see screenshot siebel_8115.PNG). However in OpenUI, when we type 'e' in the text field, it doesn't go to the text that start with the letter E (see open_UI.PNG).
