Popup Applets in Standalone Applets Do Not Work, they Display Incorrectly and are Unusable.

The expected behavior is that the standalone applet will work as it does when the applet is in a "regular" view..
The standalone applet works except that popup applets like the Mvg applets and dynamic picklist applets popup but the display is incorrect and its not possible to enter data with the incorrect popup applets.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Follow the steps in Bookshelf for Displaying Siebel CRM Applets in Siebel CRM Web Pages.
The test case used the Opportunity Form Applet - Child which has a pick applet for Opportunity and a mvg applet for sales team.
Customer wanted to use Standalone applets so that the latest, current Service Request is always available for the user to work on.
