Script Fails With "Error occurred while opening file '/TEMP/xyz.pdf'.(SBL-UIF-00229)" (Doc ID 2163724.1)

A custom workflow process has been created, which invokes a script to add an attach from pdf file. When simulating the custom script using the Siebel Business Service Simulator, the script works fine to attach the pdf file. However, when the same script business service is invoked as a step inside a custom Siebel workflow process, it generates an error.

The error message that occurs with this issue is:

PrcExec PropSet 4 00000006577e2348:0 2016-07-07 14:47:29 Error invoking service 'CUSTOMXYZ', method 'Create' at step 'Add Attachment'.(SBL-BPR-00162)
Error occurred while opening file '/TEMP/xyz.pdf'.(SBL-UIF-00229)

The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Create a custom business service to get the pdf file attachment.
2. Create a workflow process that invokes this business service.
3. Run the workflow process on the Siebel server using Workflow Process Manager component, the task errors out with the reported error message.
